This update improves overall stability and addresses a number of issues in Aperture 3, including:

  • Upgrading libraries from earlier versions of Aperture
  • Importing libraries from iPhoto
  • Importing photos directly from a camera
  • Memory usage when processing heavily-retouched photos
  • Face recognition processing
  • Adding undetected faces using the Add Missing Face button
  • Printing pages containing multiple images
  • Printing photos and contact sheets with borders and metadata
  • Editing photos using an external editor
  • Display of images with Definition and Straighten adjustments applied
  • Zooming photos in the Viewer and in the Loupe using keyboard shortcuts
  • Accessing Aperture libraries on a network volume
  • Selecting and moving pins on the Places map
  • Adding and editing custom locations using the Manage My Places window
  • Switching between masters when working with RAW+JPEG pairs.

The update is recommended for all users of Aperture 3.

Aggiornamento di compatibilità RAW per fotocamere digitali

Questo aggiornamento aumenta la compatibilità dei documenti RAW con Aperture 2, iPhoto ’08 e iPhoto ’09 per le seguenti fotocamere:

Aggiornamento: Aperture 2.1.4

Il gestore ed editor fotografico di Apple si aggiorna alla versione 2.1.4, risolvendo alcuni bug della precedente versione 2.1.3.

Più in dettaglio i cambi effettuati sono:

  • Importare: risolve un problema di Aperture 2.1.3 che impediva che l’opzione “Non importare duplicati” della finestra di importazione filtri correttamente le foto duplicate.
  • Compatibilità con MobileMe: risolve un problema a causa del quale le immagini JPEG venivano compresse quando si caricavano su MobileMe, incluso quando l’opzione “immagini con dimensioni reali” era attiva.
  • Libri: risolve un problema che impediva alle copertine di visualizzarsi correttamente quando si alternava tra le opzioni di copertina rustica e dura con il tema Inventario.
